Fever London Intern: Transitional Style

My name is Manita and I have just started to intern for Fever London.

On my very first day, I was shown around the beautiful store rails filled with vivid colours and unique, vintage-inspired prints. My task was to create an original outfit that would look flattering on the everyday woman with a sense of style and poise. After browsing around, I came up with a stylish choice with a twist. One staple dress, one statement belt and three coloured cardigans. The perfect ensemble for Autumn/Winter 2014!

As we say goodbye to the sunshine, transitional pieces are must-have investments in our wardrobes but that does not have to mean spending a fortune. The pieces I have picked are practical for the weather and incredibly versatile for varied occassions.

Here are my choices...

This first look would be great for a daytime lunch with friends. It's perfect if you want to get started with the colour blocking trend and add some colour to your everyday pencil dress, for this task I have decided to use the Akira Jersey Pencil Dress as it is easy to wear and is the perfect 'forever' dress...

To transform yourself into office-ready, you could swap the Bray Cardigan in Fuschia cardigan for the Sapphire version. Heads will still turn but you will look sophisticated as ever!

After a hard day of work, many of us want to head to a dinner without changing our whole outfit. Well, the navy pencil dress still works beautifully as it hugs your figure in all the right places. The Bray Cardigan in Black works best for the evening as it's more subtle, yet the vintage belt (coming soon!) adds originality and makes the outfit come alive from the darker colours.

All three looks are completely different, yet we have only changed one element: the cardigan. Fashion made simple.
