Perfect Fit: Model Competition 2014 - Celina

Celina (our size 14 model) was the first to arrive on the day of the winner's shoot and we don't think she'd mind us saying that she was a little nervous about getting in front of the camera - despite being an actress!  We had a chat with Celina whilst she was having her hair and make up done, as we wanted to get to know  her a little better...

Celina works Art Deco theatre show called  Mr Quinn's Radio theatre as one of seven characters in a totally improvised show! Each performance tells the tale of the behind the scenes 'soap opera' of the characters and as it's all improvised, no one knows quite what's in store.

Her favourite style decade is ...1930s and 1940s due to the femenine lines and flattering cuts and she is no stranger to a good old corset as she loves a cinched in waist! Celina likes to shop at What Katie Did for vintage inspired waist cinchers.

Her most inspirational films are...Grand Hotel, the 1932 American drama starring Greta Garbo and John Barrymore plus the 5 hour classic, Fanny and Alexander.

How Celina would spend a free day in London... Doing something arty and cultural like visting the  National Portrait Gallery with friends.

Her style notes... Celina had a punk / goth style moment when she was younger and got into vintage in Australia but has been able to embrace it even more since moving to London where there's such a vintage scene.

In her spare time...Celina is working on her first novel, set in the 1900s and is reaseraching the 20s, 30s and 40s and is immersed in historical notes. She's also about to launch a this space.

Favourite outfit of the day: The Barbican pencil skirt, Berkshire top and Kaleidoscope cropped cardigan! (See Celina's model shot of this outfit below!)
