LA: Vintage inspiration, new friends and sunshine

We've just got back from LA on a vintage inspiration mission where we soaked up the scenes, colour palettes (and sunshine) as well as seeing some of the most beautiful vintage that's got us thinking about SS16...yes, already.

LA inspiration trip

On our travels we met Jamie Dormer from Coast to Coast Vintage, who has combined her love for travel with her passion for bright, bold fashion. Jamie and her boyfriend Adam, travel in a 1976 Serro Scotty Camper (called Babygirl, kitted out like a teenage bedroom circa. 1993) and buy and sell colourful, quirky vintage all over the US. Here's Jamie in situ plus an illustration from a collectible, vintage Pepsi tray, a prop from the Camper van. Check out Jamie's amazing instagram feed for a mood boosting dose of colour.

We also met Jamie (another Jamie, strange co-incidence)  from Blossom Vintage, who sells a beautifully curated collection of Asian and America vintage in natural, neutral tones. Jamie and her boyfriend Asher travel in a 1970s Safari Airstream and stop off in vintage loving communities and flea markets around the US. You can see more of where they go and what they see at Blossom Vintage's instagram feed.
