Roisin Muldoon

It might not be Spring yet, but the new Fever catalogue has already got me dreaming of lazy afternoons in the park, and Summer fun by the seaside. Of course, in my daydreams I am dressed in beautiful colourful frocks, and there’s some sort of jazz band playing. Here are some of the new styles that have fired my imagination:

olive dress in black

Fans of the Dita dress are going to love the Olive dress. I’ve fallen in love with the flirty little buttons on the sweetheart neckline and at the front pleat. I’m already imagining myself sashaying around the office in the blue one.

Dotty shift dress

Polka dots never go out of style, and a pencil dress is always going to look elegant. I love the sailor collar detail on the Dotty Shift Dress. It’s available in three colours but my favourite is the navy, for a fun twist on the nautical theme.

Tonga Halter Dress

The Tonga Halter dress has totally stolen my heart. I’m going to play at being a 50s pin-up girl in this, with big sunglasses, red lipstick, and some sort of cocktail served in a coconut.

Neapolitan Dress

The Neapolitan dress could stop traffic, especially in white, pink and spearmint. This beauty will take you easily from the office to – well, to anywhere you’d like it to take you!

Le Mans Maxi

Even a shorty like me will look impossibly tall and elegant in the Le Mans maxi dress. The tiki inspired print inspires dreams of those long, hot summer evenings.

Riviera Dress

A good pencil dress is a staple of every woman’s wardrobe. I adore the way the dramatic collar detail of the Riviera dress combines elegance with eye-catching design.

Madrid one shoulder dress

I’m going to be a bridesmaid this year. I’m hoping I can convince the bride to let me wear the Madrid one shoulder dress. Pretty enough and girly enough for a summer wedding, this is a dress I can wear again and again after the big day.

Kennedy Prom Dress

If I can pretend I’m Joan in the Olive dress, The Kennedy prom dress will allow me to imagine I have Betty’s wardrobe. Accessorised with simple accessories and a black clutch bag, this dress says effortless elegance.

Amelia Dress

I adore the piping on the Amelia dress, and the gorgeous elbow length sleeves make it even harder to resist. I’d wear this with red shoes, red lipstick and a great big smile.

Menora Dress

The Menorca dress is a happy dress. I love the vibrant floral print and the cute pintucks at the neckline. It’ll be perfect for relaxing in the sun at a summer festival.
